Dr. Anil Shah did his MBBS at USTC (University of Science & Technology Chittagong, Bangladesh) in the year 2014 following which he worked in the Chomolongma Community Hospital Salleri, Solukhumbu as the medical director & officer incharge. It was the first & the only community hospital in Solukhumbu district (the district of Himalaya, the district of the Mount Everest). He provided a promising district level health services there including the primary level of resuscitation, emergency management, out patient clinical services, normal vaginal delivery, in patient care, the Expanded Program on Immunization, Integrated Management of Childhood Illness, Family Planning Services, DOTS & many more). During the period, he got an opportunity to serve more than 5000 patients. He was honored formally with the love and appreciation by the social campaigners & the district health office of Salleri, Solukhumbu. Further he continued his clinical exposure at Norvic International Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal for 1 year.
Before doing his MBBS, Dr. Shah had completed his proficiency certificate level in General medicine in 2006 under Nepal government’s scholarship program. He then started his clinical career at Stupa Community Hospital, Bouddha, Kathmandu, where he served as the satellite clinic incharge at Indrayani VDC, Kathmandu Nepal for 2 years. It was fully community based clinical health services. He also served there in the department of emergency medicine during the period.
