Dr. Rishi Kafle is a renowned Nepalese Nephrologist who has made significant contributions to the field of Nephrology in Nepal. He is the Chief Consultant in the Department of Nephrology of Nepal Mediciti. Dr. Kafle has been actively involved in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases in Nepal ever since his key role in establishing the field of Nephrology in the country.
He was actively involved in the establishment of Dialysis in Bir Hospital in 1988, and Nephrology Unit in 1990 in Bir Hospital. He also established Non-Profit Dialysis- National Kidney Center; the largest dialysis provider in Nepal.
Dr. Kafle has also been involved in training and mentoring many young Nephrologists in Nepal. He is widely respected in the Nepalese medical community and has received numerous awards and recognition for his contributions to the field of Nephrology.

Dr. Nabin has been practicing Nephrology in Nepal since 2011 and was further trained as an interventional nephrologist by the International Society of Nephrology.

Dr. Nabin is a consultant nephrologist at Nepal Mediciti Hospital. He is Deputy Medical Director of National Kidney Centre and board member of Health Care Foundation, Nepal (HECAF-Nepal) and has worked as an interventional nephrologist fellow at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India, and other associated hospitals.

He did his under-graduation from Tribhuvan University and postgraduation at Hiroshima University. He received Nepal Bidhya Bhusan in 2011 for his academic achievements. His works have been presented internationally and published in national and international journals. He is active as an editor in the Nepalese Medical Journal and peer reviewer of medical journals.

Dr. Nabin is a member of the Nepal Society of Nephrology and International Society of Nephrology. He is also the executive director and permanent Nepal representative of AVATAR Foundation which is an international association for vascular access and interventional nephrology.

Dr. Sunil K Sharma Dhakal is the Principal Consultant and Head of the Department of General and Digestive Diseases, Unit 1 at Nepal Mediciti. He has been a Consultant GI & Laparoscopic Surgeon since 1998, following the completion of his FRCSEd. Dr. Dhakal further enhanced his expertise with fellowship training in Advanced Cancer Surgery in South Korea and Singapore, each lasting six months. His contributions have significantly advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Nepal, and he has been instrumental in the management, teaching, and surgical practice at two prominent medical colleges prior to his tenure at Nepal Mediciti. Dr. Dhakal is a founding member of Primary Trauma Care Nepal, which provides regular trauma courses across the country. He also serves as an official trainer for Johnson & Johnson's Basic Surgical Course. His academic contributions include co-editing a book on surgery and authoring over 15 scientific articles. Dr. Dhakal has trained more than 20 surgeons in Laparoscopy, underscoring his commitment to advancing surgical education and practice. Before joining Nepal Mediciti, Dr. Dhakal completed a successful tenure as Principal of Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital. His primary fields of interest include Cancer Surgery and GI Laparoscopic Surgery, areas in which he continues to contribute significantly through both clinical practice and academic endeavors.
